The R&D departments on going research programme has lead to the development of a range of materials which vary in characteristics. All are asbestos free and kind to discs but vary in performance according to their usage. With the introduction of ECE Regulation 90, we have placed great emphasis on testing our products and gaining approvals. Our Regulation 90 programme will see more of our commercial products gaining approvals in 2002.

Interlayer Technologie - all brake pads of our EFI range are made with interlyer technology. We have developed interlayer which prevent corrosion and transfer of shock to prevent displace of the brake pad. EFI pre mould an shock resistant layer onto the backplate underneath the actual friction material. This interlayer improves bonding strength by 500% and its ability to resist shock loads completely offsets the chances of pad debond (pads becoming detached from backing plate). |

E302 - Premium off-highway material. Medium friction level, (mu = 0.32), with excellent wear properties in most off-highway environments
E302.9 - OE level off-highway material. Medium friction level, (mu = 0.32), with exceptional wear properties - Original equipment on well known off highway vehicles.
E308 - Medium / High friction material, (mu = 0.38), which is approved on many tram and light rail applications. Excellent pad and disc wear charakteristics.
E326 - Premium off-highway material. Medium friction level, (mu = 0.32), with excellent wear properties. Particularly suited to hot, dry and dusty environments. |

E342 - A high friction, (mu = 0.48), material with excellent static friction properties - recommended for industrial hand brake applications
